EMMA HAS BEEN AN INTEGRAL PART OF ST QUENTIN SINCE SHE OPENED THE RESIDENTIAL HOME DOORS WITH HER PARENTS (MR & MRS JOHN MOORHOUSE—DIRECTORS) IN SEPTEMBER 1988. EMMA ACTED AS THE HOME MANAGER UNTIL 2000 WHEN THE NURSING HOME WAS AQUIRED—AND BECAME THE GENERAL MANAGER OF BOTH HOMES. IN 2009, EMMA BECAME THE REGISTERED MANAGER OF THE NURSING HOME BEFORE BECOMING THE REGISTERED MANAGER OF BOTH HOMES IN 2009 WHEN THEY WERE REGISTERED AS ONE HOME.

EMMA HOLDS LEVELS 3 & 4 IN NVQ HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE, A REGISTERED MANAGER AWARD AND TRAINS IN MANUAL HANDLING, FIRE, INFORMATION  GOVERNANCE AND HAS CERTIFICATES IN MEDICATION MANAGEMENT. EMMA ALSO IS THE CURRENT CHAIRMAN OF SARCP (STAFFORDSHIRE ASSOCIATION OF REGISTERED CARE PROVIDERS).

I STARTED THIS BUSINESS WITH MY PARENTS BACK IN 1988. OUR AIM WAS TO PROVIDE QUALITY CARE & ACCOMODATION IN BEAUTIFUL SURROUNDINGS AND THAT IS STILL CURRENT TODAY. IM CONSTANTLY LEARNING & ATTENDING DIFFERENT COURES. I ENJOY THE CHALLEGE OF LEGISLATIVE & REGULATORY REQUIRMENTS & ENSURING WE ARE ALWAYS CURRENT IN OUR POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.

I AM CURRENTLY THE CHAIRMAN OF THE STAFFORDSHIRE ASSOCIATION OF  REGISTERED CARE PROVIDERS (SARCP), WHICH ENABLES ME TO HAVE AN AWARENESS OF LOCAL AND NATIONAL ISSUES”
